Michael Vincent

Bio

Michael Vincent is an aerospace research engineer in the Crew Systems and Aviation Operations branch at NASA Langley Research Center. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Wichita State University and an M.S. in Human Factors and Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Michael has previously worked in areas of aviation training, automation in General Aviation aircraft, weather technology in the cockpit, UAS ground control station design and UAS operations. He worked under the NASA UAS Integration in the NAS project to enable routine access to the National Airspace for unmanned aircraft and was principal investigator for Flight Test 6. Michael is now working under the ATM-X project investigating requirements for UAS cargo operations and under the AFCM project investigating user interface requirements for flight path management. He is a certificated private pilot and is also a member of the Langley Airworthiness Safety Review Board.
