Sagar Kc

Bio


Sagar Kc was born in the small Himalayan country Nepal. After moving to the US for higher education, he went to the University of Texas at Arlington to earn his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Before coming to LaRC, Sagar served in the US Army for four years and also worked as a DoD Civilian Employee for several months.
Currently, Sagar is supporting the Integrated Aviation Systems Program’s Unmanned Aerial Systems in the National Airspace System (UAS in the NAS) Project by assisting with the analysis of data collected during the Project’s recent Terminal Operations (TOPS2) human-in-the-loop experiment. This experiment, conducted in LaRC’s Air Traffic Operations Lab (ATOL), is focused on answering key research questions such as determining the best switching method for traffic aircraft alerting within en-route and terminal airspace environments.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his newborn daughter. He is also a very avid guitar player and likes to participate in local events.
